Invitation to tree-planting event at Burntollet Wood: Sunday 28 November, 1 to 4pm
The Woodland Trust is pleased to invite you to an afternoon of tree planting at Burntollet Wood, not far from L’Derry in the beautiful Faughan Valley.
Tree planters will also have the opportunity to discover the beauty of Burntollet and Ness Country Park thanks to a special story walk, brimming with facts, fun and mythology.

Annual Club Dinner - 27th Fenruary 2010
Our Club Annual Dinner was held in the City Hotel on 27th February 2010. A presentation was made to our outgoing Chairman, Charlie Logue. Charlie was Chair of the Club from 1998 to 2009. Members wished to express their gratitude to Charlie for his his many years of dedicated service. He was presented with an engraved bottle of Whiskey and an albumn of photos from various club walks down the years.

Introductory Walk - 13th February 2010
We held an introductory walk to Bannagher Glen on 13th February 2010. After having to reschedule from earlier because of poor weather the day turned out to be be a bright sunny spring like day. Over 40 people came on the 8 mile hike through Bannger Glen and all appeared to enjoy the experience, with a few joining up and becoming members of the Club.
