New members are always welcome to our walking club.

To get started all you have to do is turn up at the designated meeting place for a walk of your choice. From the meeting place we pool cars to get to the walk starting point. It is our custom for members to make a contribution of £4 to a driver in return for a lift. You can take 3 walks with us before we ask you to join and pay membership fees, that way you can see if hillwalking is for you.

If you are new to hillwalking we suggest you go on on a grade A or B initially and see how you get on.

Membership Fees

if you are interested in joining our club the annual membership fee is £30 which includes membership and insurance from the MCI. £22 of the total goes to the MCI for membership and insurance, the remaining £8 covers administration expenses.
